Development Levels |
We offer the WEE Learn Curriculum, which is one of the most well-respected preschool programs available. Wee Learn provides opportunities for children to:
|
- 18 months - 24 months - Development of motor skills and learning of educational concepts are part of the curriculum for children ages 18 months to 24 months. Subjects addressed by their curriculum include sharing, giving, respect, and feelings. Children at this age are introduced to the concept that God loves them and thinks they are very special.
- Terrific Twos - We recognize the importance of structured and unstructured play for two year olds. We also realize that children have different desires and a need for developing certain skills at different stages in their development. Therefore, we strive to maintain a well-rounded curriculum that includes special programs, guest speakers, and other activities to meet the needs of each child at their unique stage of life. Play activities are the vehicle we use to transport two year olds into the vast world of learning in the areas of motor skill development, educational concepts, social skills, and the foundational spiritual concepts they will need for future progress.
- Wonderful Threes - This program provides a range of activities designed to meet the needs of three-year-olds at their level of development. We provide guidance and activities in each unit to help each child develop language, reading, writing, and math skills appropriate to his or her stage of development, and to grow in their understanding of their place of importance in God's creation.
- Fabulous Fours - The program for four year olds is designed to prepare the child socially, spiritually, and educationally to enter kindergarten. We stress such concepts as fine and gross motor skills, listening skills, hand/eye coordination, colors, shapes and sizes, letter and number concepts, pre-writing skills, pre-reading skills, and self control.
